First try has been an utter failure so lets start again!!

Copy pasting from last time

First off is becoming an early riser using the techniques described by Steve Pavlina on here and that is to be able to harness most of my day productively. Ideally I want to have 7.5 or 6 hours of sleep and 16.5 to 18 productive hours (with maybe a nap midday)

Subgoals (100% within my power)

  • Practice 30 minutes of waking ritual every day preferably right when I wake up to make the conditions as close to my target as possible. Open eyes, quick stretch, drink glass of water, remove top, go to the washroom and washface and teeth and proceed with the start of workout routine.
  • Visualize a couple of times a day the process of the ritual above

The second goal is to spend about 10% of my productive time (at least 1 and a half) hour extending my understanding of the world further which translates into reading science based material or watching documentaries

Subgoals (100% within my power)

  • Develop "learning ritual": Ponder for a minute what I know about the subject I am about to indulge into and what I know that the author is trying to convey.
  • Listen to audiobooks while commuting
  • Watch part of a documentary after morning ritual
  • OR read some material after morning ritual
  • if the above do not meet the 1.5 hours repeat after returning from work for as long as needed.

First batch of goals, Day 4-5

The first weekend and as expected was the biggest challenge and a failed one at that, my BaRa (backwards rationalization was that I slept at my girlfriend's home. I have to add the necessary strategic steps required to perform optimally at those circumstances as well.

But at the very least I have to admit that the weekend wasn't a complete waste as I went to the "VL" that compromised by a video on neuroscience and a whole lot of info. I will probably compile a list tomorrow at work so I can get my thoughts in order.

Verdict: Early riser goal (X) Knowledge front (V)
